MSD Minority and Women {MBE & WBE) Program:

Prime Contractor Bid Discounts: During the bid evaluations on project estimated between $30,000 and $500,000, the total dollar amount of each MBE/WBE prime contractor bid is reduced by 10% during the bid evaluation period only. The contract is awarded based on the original bid price submitted.

Construction Subcontracting Goals – MBE and WBE Participation:

• On contracts valued by MSD at $150,000 or more.
• At least 35% should be subcontracted to eligible MBE and WBE firms.
• Subcontracting Goals: 18% Black, 2% Asian/Indian, and 15% Caucasian Females.

Small Business Enterprise {SBE) Program:

• Race and gender-neutral program.
• Compete for MSD prime contracts.
• Register SBEs competitively compete for projects allocated by MSD.
