Contractor Initiative

The Contractor Initiative supports small businesses and contractors seeking to build capacity, strengthen operations, and prepare for construction-related opportunities.

Through training, technical assistance, coaching, and access to resources, participants receive support in areas such as business documentation, financial readiness, procurement preparation, bonding, insurance, licensing, estimating, and project management.

The initiative is open to eligible participants and is designed to provide practical support that helps businesses improve readiness, compete more effectively, and pursue sustainable growth.

This education series covers financing, bonding, procurement, and business growth — Classes are running through May 2027. Enroll now.

Classes are held from 4:30pm – 6:00pm. Participants may join in person at 4303 West Broadway, Louisville, KY 40211, or online via Zoom. Register for classes.
